5 Reasons to Stay at Disney’s All-Star Resorts
Disney’s All-Star Resorts are extremely popular for groups that are looking to save money, but still want that Disney feel. They make up three of the five value resorts at Walt Disney World. You have All-Star Movies, All-Star Music, and All-Star Sports. The question I hear a lot is why should we stay there? Personally, my favorite value resort is Pop Century, however, there are definitely a few reasons why people might prefer one of the All-Star Resorts.
1. The Most Inexpensive Disney Resorts
There is no denying that 99% of the time if you are looking for the most budget-friendly option for a Disney resort, it is going to be one of the All-Star Resorts. Pop Century and Art of Animation are also value resorts, they tend to be priced higher per night because of the extra amenities including easy access to the Skyliner.
2. Newly Renovated Rooms
All of Disney’s All-Star Resorts are getting an update they desperately needed. All-Star Movies is currently open and complete for renovated rooms. If you have had a chance to see the newly renovated rooms at Pop Century, these are very similar. The decor has been updated from the ’80s, extra outlets have been added for convenience, and an overall sleeker design.
I’m obsessed with the newly renovated rooms because the old rooms truly felt like an old, stale motel. The update brought new life and Disney blood back into the rooms.
All-Star Music has also been recently updated with the same design as All-Star Movies.
All-Star Sports is finishing up renovations of the rooms and is expected to be completed in early 2023.
3. Amazing Decor for Kids
Disney value resorts aren’t exclusively for families, but there are definitely a few reasons people with young children love them so much. The decor is incredible and brings movie magic to life at all three All-Star resorts.
You will find your favorite characters themed to each of the unique resorts. Mighty Ducks at All-Star Sports, Fantasia Mickey conducting music at the All-Star Movie’s pool, the Three Caballeros leading the fun at All-Star Music, to just name a few examples.
4. Perfect for Families That Are Always in the Parks
There are so many different ways to visit Disney World. Some families prefer longer trips where they take their time and relax, while other families love trips where they are in the parks for 90% of their vacation. There is no right way to visit Disney World as long as you have fun.
Disney’s All-Star Resorts are perfect for families that are looking to stay on property and remain in the Disney magic, but really won’t be at the resort long enough to take advantage of extra features. Don’t get me wrong, I love deluxe resorts like the Beach Club, however, if I’m only there a few days and plan to be in the parks most of the time, why would I spend the extra money for amenities I won’t be using?
The All-Star Resorts allow you to remain in the Disney bubble and provide you with all the great things you love about a Disney resort, without the extra cost. You’ll still be able to get Mickey waffles in the food court, you’ll have Disney decor throughout the rooms and resort, and have transportation to and from the theme parks.
5. Suites at All-Star Music
Did you know that All-Star Music has suites for larger parties? It’s true! These rooms have been recently renovated too. They can sleep up to 6 adults between 1 Queen Bed and two Queen size pull-down beds. These rooms are 520 square feet and include two full bathrooms, a full-size fridge, and a microwave.
