Cinderella’s Royal Table – Dinner Review
Cinderella’s Royal Table is a character dining experience located in Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that it is one of the most popular restaurants in Disney World. If you want to eat here I highly recommend you book at the 180-day mark for your vacations.
What characters are at Cinderella’s Royal Table?
You will be greeted by Cinderella before you enter the restaurant. This is a PhotoPass experience so if you have a Memory Maker make sure to scan your Magicband. During your meal, there will be royal announcements for her princess friends. Some of the princesses you could meet are Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine, and occasionally Belle. It is important to note, that the only princess you are guaranteed to see is Cinderella. You will typically see at least four others, but they do change them up.
Cinderella’s Royal Table has characters for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Is Cinderella’s Royal Table on the Disney Dining Plan?
Yes! Cinderella’s Royal Table is considered a signature meal for all meals. This means it will cost 2 table service credits to eat here for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Are there any discounts for Cinderella’s Royal Table?
Annual Passholders receive 10% off at Cinderella’s Royal Table, excluding alcohol and gratuity. If you have a Tables in Wonderland card you will get 20% off your entire meal, and 18% gratuity will be added.

Highlights of Cinderella’s Royal Table
The real highlights of dining here are the location itself. It is extremely magical for guests to be able to dine in the castle. Whether you are eating breakfast, lunch, or dinner, being able to meet the princesses in such an iconic location is amazing.
I wouldn’t say the food here is a major draw of this dining location, however, I think dinner is much better than breakfast. That being said, the price for all three is definitely up there. If you are paying out of pocket and simply want to eat there, regardless of the food, go for breakfast! It is the cheapest option. Plus, you can snag an early reservation before the park opens so you’ll have an empty Main Street for photos.
The character interactions are also a highlight here. There are incredibly friendly and creative. Your kids will have a chance to dance around with the princesses and celebrate your magical wishes together.
My personal favorite of the meals is the clock strikes midnight dessert. It is definitely one of my favorite desserts. The presentation changes occasionally, but the flavor is always delicious. Chocolate with a fairytale touch? What’s not to love?!
Who should eat at Cinderella’s Royal Table?
- Families with little princesses of their own who want to enjoy the most magical dining experience Disney offers
- Anyone looking for a special dining experience in the Magic Kingdom
- Guests who are using the Disney Dining Plan, especially the deluxe plan, and want to try the signature restaurants
I would also argue that it is a good restaurant for first time Disney World guests. While the food isn’t the best quality you will find on property, it is still very tasty. You are truly paying for the experience here more than food.
Who shouldn’t eat at Cinderella’s Royal Table?
- Groups that are on a budget and looking for a good dining deal
- Adults looking for a romantic evening that leans more towards romance with less Disney overtones
- Families that don’t care about meeting the princesses
Overall Review of Cinderella’s Royal Table
I thoroughly enjoy eating at here. I think the atmosphere and location are a great addition to any Disney vacation. The food itself I would rate between a B and a B+. There is absolutely room for improvement, but overall it is good food.
My biggest issue is the price. There are other signature restaurants that cost the same, whether you are paying out of pocket or on the dining plan, so it is hard for me to justify picking this restaurant over another restaurant.
Since a lot of the character meals feature breakfast as the highlighted meal, or sometimes the only character meal, this is a nice combination of character meal and non-buffet meal.
If you aren’t too picky about which characters you meet, I think Storybook Dining at Artist Point in Wilderness Lodge is a better option. You’d get to meet characters and have a delicious dinner as well. Plus, if you are on the Disney Dining Plan, that one is only one table service credit!
