Storybook Dining at Artist Point Review

What is Storybook Dining at Artist Point?

Storybook Dining at Artist Point is a dinner character meal experience. You will dine in the enchanted forest and enjoy a prix fixe menu that was specially chosen to bring Snow White to life. While it is a character meal, the menu is much more than your typical buffet.

How much is the Storybook Dining?

Storybook Dining will cost $55-$59 per adult and $33-$35 for children ages 3-9. The range is based peak or off-peak season pricing, which can sometimes change the cost of meals. If you are on the Disney Dining Plan it will cost only one table service credit, making it one of the best options for DDP to get the most value out of a credit.

Currently, Disney World annual passholders receive a 10% discount on food and nonalcoholic beverages, excluding tax and gratuity. Tables in Wonderland is not offered at this location.

Storybook Dining is a prix fixe menu. You will receive all appetizers and a dessert sampler, but have to select one choice of entree. If you have anyone with you between the ages of 3-9 they will have other options as well, but the same desserts.

While all of the entrees get high praise, the stroll through nature gets the gold star. I highly recommend at least one person at your table order it. It truly is a must-try.

What characters do you meet at Storybook Dining at Artist Point?

Grumpy, Dopey, and Snow White will stop by your table to meet your family, take photos, or sign autographs. If a character somehow misses you, simply inform your waiter or a member of the staff and they will make sure they come over.

After you are done your meal, the Evil Queen is waiting for you. There is a PhotoPass photographer who will capture the meeting for you or you can hand them your phone or camera if you prefer.

Highlights of Storybook Dining

Storybook Dining is one of the only times you will get to meet any of the dwarves outside of a party in Magic Kingdom. When the turned Artist Point from a signature restaurant into character dining, people were concerned it might just be another typical dining experience. Storybook Dining is a more upscale dining experience than your average character meal.

I enjoyed that you can meet characters that would otherwise be difficult to meet. The interactions were great and more than just stopping for a photo before the next table. They also have a musical parade for the children like the majority of character meals at Disney.

The meal itself was excellent. You get a lot of food for the price and the quality is what you would expect from a nice dinner. The scenery of the Enchanted Forest is beautiful and transportative.

Would I recommend Storybook Dining at Artist Point?

Absolutely! However, because of the menu and price point, it might not be the best dining option for everyone. The food was delicious and the menu was thoughtful and fit the overall theme.

My only complaint, which isn’t even a complaint, is that I wish the menu would change up a bit more to reflect the current season. Basically have more fall flavors in the fall, winter options around the holidays, etc.

Who should eat at Storybook Dining at Artist Point?

Storybook Dining at Artist Point is a one of a kind experience. So who should think about dining here?

    • Anyone who loves Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and wants to meet the characters outside a Magic Kingdom party
    • People who want a character meal, but prefer a more thought out menu vs a buffet
    • If you are in the Disney Dining Plan, the value is completely worth it

Who should skip Storybook Dining at Artist Point?

While I enjoyed Storybook Dining, there are some people who might be better off dining elsewhere.

    • If your group does not care about meeting characters
    • Families on a budget who don’t want to spend a lot on dinner
    • Couples who are looking for a more adult romantic setting (while this can be romantic it will still have plenty of children running around, so consider a signature restaurant instead)
